Our core mandate

Preaching the Gospel. Planting Churches. Transforming Communities.

POM was born out of a call to take the gospel to underserved and unreached communities. Church planting is not one programme among many — it is the centre from which every other programme flows.

The gospel mandate

Why we plant churches

POM Harvesters International exists because the gospel is the power of God for salvation and the only lasting hope for every person, family, and community. We believe the local church is God's chosen instrument for discipleship, mercy, and community transformation.

Our church planting work begins with evangelism, grows through discipleship, and is sustained by trained local leaders. Each church becomes a centre of worship, prayer, teaching, and practical compassion — serving its own community long after our team has moved on.

"Every child, borehole, clinic and classroom is an extension of a gospel-centred witness — proclamation and compassion, hand in hand."
What we do

Gospel activities

Our church planting strategy combines evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and compassionate outreach.

Evangelism & Outreach

We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in villages, marketplaces, schools, and across borders — meeting people where they are with word and deed.

Church Planting

We establish self-sustaining, gospel-centred churches led by local pastors and elders, giving every community a spiritual home and a witness.

Pastor & Leader Training

We train pastors, elders, and lay leaders in biblical theology, discipleship, church governance, and community care.

Cross-Border Mission

Our work extends from Kenya into eastern Uganda, partnering with local believers to strengthen churches and reach unreached communities.

Bible Study & Discipleship

House-to-house Bible studies, discipleship groups, and youth mentorship form the backbone of lasting transformation.

Compassionate Witness

Every borehole, classroom, clinic, and children's home is an extension of the gospel — love made visible in the communities we serve.
